Caribbean cruises should be on everyone’s list of vacations with tropical Caribbean islands, clear, clean beaches and of course a fun filled time on board the cruise liner.

If you think a cruise holiday in the Caribbean is assured to dent your budget, you couldn’t be further from the truth. Caribbean cruises are becoming gradually more reasonable, and offer superb value for money. In fact, a high end cruise liner is like an colossal floating world – with as many things to do, restaurants and rooms similar to some of the world’s best hotels. Pre selected for their exceptional itineraries and excellent value for money, these cruises will enable you to participate in a guided visit of the fascinating areas you vill visit whilst staying on board some of the most stylish cruise ships afloat. The major islands in the Caribbean include Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Bonaire, the Cayman Islands and Antigua.

So why not go on a Caribbean cruise, what a excellent holiday that would be. You could visit all the islands, like Jamaica and Barbados and the Bahamas, and Cuba. Maybe you have intended about a Caribbean cruise but just do not know what to expect. A cruise liner has all the amenities of a five star hotel and more!

Year round sunshine comes courtesy of the fantastic tropical climate, whilst turquoise waters lap gently on white sandy beaches fringed by lush tropical vegetation. This is the time a world of of us start dreaming of a Caribbean cruise. The holiday’s appeal is undeniable: Swaying palm trees, swaths of beach, turquoise waters, and top notch nightlife are just selected of the islands’ draws.

If you are looking forward to the Holidays but dread the stress that comes with them, here a list of 10 tips for stress-free holidays. Go over them daily and apply at least one a day. You will not only have wonderful holidays, but you will also avoid the post-holiday blues that most often happen as a reaction to holiday-induced stress.

1. Go over last year’s holidays and write down 3 things, incidents, or issues around holidays that stressed you out—that’s your lesson not to repeat them or avoid them this year.

2. Write down 3 things you want to enjoy these holidays that involve your family, your relatives, and yourself. No more than 3, please. Keeping it to 3 items, keeps your expectations realistic. Some examples: I want to go skiing with my husband and children and not cook for 28 people. I want to spend Christmas’ Eve at church with my family and not at my cousin’s house. I want to spend only one day on Christmas shopping, instead of four weekends in a row.

3. Write these wishes on a piece of paper and put in on a visible spot. It will be your reminder of what you truly need from these holidays.

4. Under each one of your 3 wishes, write in detail what you must do to make them true. For example: “I want to spend only one day on Christmas shopping.” List what you absolutely need to buy in stores. List what you can buy online. Calculate the time you need. Consider purchasing gift certificates if buying gifts stresses you out.

5. Engage family members in helping you out. Assign specific chores and promise them a reward.

6. Keep your expectations realistic and stay focused on what’s important. Read often items 1, 2, and 3 of this list, to remind yourself of your promises.

7. Say ‘no’ to guilt-driven behaviors. They are the ultimate cause of stress during holidays. For example, if you can’t be around X relative opening gifts under the Christmas tree, be honest to yourself and spend as little time as possible around that person.

8. Watch “Family Man” and “It’s A Wonderful Life” in bed with your family instead of running around, if you are all tired.

9. Spend quiet time and pray.

10. Remember, this too, shall pass. So, make sure to create only good, stress-free memories.

This time of year, many of my clients share with me that they are anxious about the fast-approaching holiday season. They feel like they’ve been making great progress in eating healthier, feeling better, and achieving balance in their lives. They don’t want the holidays to wreak havoc on their wellness routine. This concern is based on past experiences of feeling out of control during the holidays.

I can relate to these feelings because I tend to take really good care of myself when I am at home and in my normal routine. When I’m out of my routine and feel tempted all the time, I have to get creative. I have some ideas for how you can stay in control while still enjoying the holidays.

1. Keep most of your meals healthy and home-cooked

It is easy during the holidays to get thrown off course and then feel like you might as well give-up completely. Instead, choose to keep most of your meals the same healthy fare you were eating before the holidays. Then you can choose to fully enjoy those special holiday meals, guilt-free.

2. Eat mindfully

This is always important, but it is particularly important during the holidays when there are treats everywhere we turn. When we feel guilty about what we’re eating, we tend to eat quickly and standing up (perhaps even with the frig door open). Instead, try sitting down and eating without distraction (no phone, computer, TV, newspaper, etc). Then, chew each bite thoroughly so you get the full enjoyment of your food.

3. Continue your exercise routine

During the holidays it can feel easy to let your exercise routine slide – especially if you’re traveling or tight on time. This is dangerous because once you get out of the habit, you may struggle to get back into your routine (especially in the cold of winter). Sticking with your routine will improve your mood, reduce stress, and keep your metabolism strong (so you don’t have to feel so guilty for that pumpkin pie).

Women: are you sick and tired of feeling unhealthy and down on yourself? If you are ready to make lasting lifestyle changes for yourself and your family, stop your war with food, and get healthy, Amy Lippmann, Certified Holistic Health Counselor, can help.

An idea of favorite holidays can include a large list of destinations according to tastes and preferences of an individual. Choice for a holiday destination may depend upon various factors like a solitary holiday or a vacation with family and kids or close friends and colleagues and on the purpose of vacation. A holiday can be a memorable one if people have similar interests or sometimes entirely different interests. Any holiday can be a perfect one if sufficient thought is given to some of the above factors.

There are various destinations around the world that can be places of great activity and fun. Barbados is a land rich in culture, music, gourmet food, and amazing beaches. This is an excellent place for people who need a change from their routine life and just want to relax and get rejuvenated. This place has a variety of beautiful spas and massage parlors that can revitalize body and mind.

Another wonderful way to spend a holiday is to go sailing in a deluxe yacht. Many travelers find it calming and totally dazzling. A person can fit ballooning into holiday and vacation plans.

Whirling with dolphins is still another way to turn a holiday into a memory of a lifetime. Akaroa Harbor in New Zealand’s South Island is the only place where tourists can get to swim with the uncommon and smallest dolphins. It could be a mesmerizing experience.

Picture yourself relaxing in the grounds of a vineyard or olive grove, being given the chance to sample traditional cooking using fresh ingredients that are grown on site. Or perhaps you imagine yourself in a country kitchen, trying out the cookery techniques you’ve seen your favourite chefs on television try before washing your creation down with a nice glass of wine.

If this is the sort of image that gets your mouth watering, then a culinary excursion and wine tasting holiday could be just what you’re looking for.

Gourmet and cooking holidays have become popular with those who are looking to take a culinary journey around their country of choice, sampling local cuisine and wines along the way. From the French Riviera to the mountainous regions of Italy, gourmet holidays have become a popular tourist attraction for many countries that are famed for their foodstuffs.

Indeed, Asian cookery has seen an increase in popularity in recent times – particularly through various television shows. For those who are looking to travel further and sample dishes you wouldn’t usually find on a takeaway menu, there are now a variety of holidays to South East Asia to satisfy the most curious of foodies.

Accommodation is usually included in the price, however you may have to organise your own flights and car hire. Many companies will offer the chance to be picked up from the nearest airport as part of your stay. Cooking holidays will usually be based in quaint little cottages, with cooking classes being run throughout the day – ranging from wine tasting sessions to pastry and pasta making.

These workshops are performed under the watchful eye of experienced chefs, who will offer their advice should you be struggling with your preparation. After being given the chance to have a stroll around the local area and take in the scenery, you’ve built up an appetite in time to consume what you’ve prepared for lunch or dinner.

If you don’t fancy stepping into the kitchen to have a go yourself, many centres have are a number of activities – such as cycling and golfing – available in the local area.
